This specimen was retrieved from Ercall quarry in Shropshire. ( without hammering ). The basal conglomerate is overlain by the Ercall quartzite, and is early Cambrian in age. It contains a collection of fragments, including flow banded rhyolite, Green fragments, and a basalt pebble.
